It is a steep, scary, uphill climb, and you can't make it in prissy shoes - the ones that worked well for you when your road was smooth and easy. Regardless of your prognosis, or even of the ultimate outcome, God's desire is for you to walk in faith, trusting Him to give you the shoes you will need for the path He has prepared for you. The strength and grace to walk this new journey will only come by spending time with Jesus. Because:

As I traveled my pink journey these last few years, I wanted to make sure that I was at least pretty on the inside, by His grace. So, staying in the Word and near to my Lord served many purposes. It not only lessened my fears, but it also heightened my joy in Him, which ultimately showed on my face.
